Rosneft Enterprises – My Vmeste Award Winners

07 December 2021

Three Rosneft enterprises have won the My Vmeste (We’re Together) International Volunteer Award. The winner in the Helping People category was Bashneft, with Samotlorneftegaz and Kondaneft coming in second in the Cultural Heritage and Health of the Nation categories, respectively.

Over the 10 years of its existence, the Dobrye Serdtsa (Kind Hearts) volunteer movement, made up of Bashneft employees, has held over 100 different campaigns. Volunteers support Great Patriotic War veterans and also run children’s programmes. Each year, 25 sponsored institutions for children are provided with the necessary equipment, exercise machines, appliances, furniture, school supplies and clothing. Bashneft has more than 500 active volunteers and almost 15,000 volunteers who participate in charity fundraisers. The geography of Dobrye Serdtsa covers the Republics of Bashkortostan and Udmurtia, the Orenburg region, and the cities of Naryan-Mar and Tyumen. Other Rosneft enterprises located in the Republic of Bashkortostan, such as Sibintek and RN-BashNIPIneft, are also actively involved in Bashneft’s volunteer projects.

Samotlorneftegaz was awarded the silver medal of the My Vmeste Award for its project to preserve the historical memory of the oil pioneers’ exploits. The Uniting Generations project tells the story of how the unique Samotlor field was discovered and developed. The Information and Exhibition Complex submitted for the competition includes the First Exploration Well R-1 in the Samotlor Field memorial complex, the Conquerors of Samotlor monument, the Samotlor Heroes’ Square, and a permanent exhibition. The Samotlor R-1 website (samotlor-r1.ru) was created for the 55th anniversary of the Samotlor field, and the project became available virtually.

The Kondaneft Reloading Project was awarded for motivating people to change their lifestyle: regular exercise and forming healthy lifestyle habits. The project participants underwent a baseline health measurement before the start of the project. After a month of active exercise with experienced sports instructors, nutritionists and other specialists, the positive changes that occurred during this period were recorded. The results were an incentive for the rest of the enterprise’s employees to change their lifestyles.
